The Ingersoll District Nature Club invites all photographers to 'Go With the Flow in Oxford County.'
Nature enthusiasts and photography buffs will be able to show off their keen eye with the return of a photography contest.
The Ingersoll District Nature Club is collecting submissions for their annual contest; Club President Sheila Fleming says this year's theme is all about the wet stuff.
"We decided to go with a title of 'Go With the Flow in Oxford County' and that's celebrating our many rivers, waterways, lakes, wetlands, and the natural world that they support."
This is the third year for the contest, and Fleming says they have had over 60 entries over the last couple of years.
"We've been pleasantly surprised - we've had a really good response both years and what we particularly like is we have younger applicants - kids under 12 who have participated so it's nice to see that kind of response from the community."
Photos can be submitted electronically by emailing ingersolldistrictnatureclub@gmail.com or sent through the mail by addressing it to Ingersoll District Nature Club Photography Contest, c/o 205 George Street, Ingersoll, Ontario N5C 1Z5. You are asked to let them know where the photo was taken.
The deadline is October 11th at 5 p.m.
