After 20 years of work, the County's Human Resources head is retiring. Janice Kubiak's last day of work is April 30th. Under her leadership, the Human Resources department grew to a seven-person team providing many services for a staff of 870 employees. County CAO Peter Crockett says Janice has had a significant impact on Oxford. "She was the first HR Professional that came to the County. Over 20 years, she's developed a very robust, very professional, very effective HR group. She will be sorely missed," said Crockett. A key accomplishment under Kubiak?s leadership was the process of integrating social housing, wastewater and EMS employees into the County system. The recruitment process should start in the coming weeks.
