SWOX Fire Chief Rob Serson says about 7,000 litres of fuel leaked in the Woodstock ONroute parking lot last night, after a truck collided with a fuel tanker. No one was hurt.
WOODSTOCK - The Woodstock ONroute was closed for about two hours as crews responded to a fuel spill.
The South-West Oxford Fire Department got the call at around 9:00 p.m. last night.
Chief Rob Serson says a truck collided with a fuel tanker that was carrying 14,500 litres of ethanol. No one was hurt, but the fuel tanker lost about 7,000 litres of the fuel.
South-West Oxford Firefighters were able to contain the spill and they called in the Spills Action Centre for the cleanup.
There is no damage estimate at this time.
