It's Crime Stoppers month and the theme this year is Helping All Communities Stay Safe.
OXFORD COUNTY - The theme for Crime Stoppers Month this year is Helping All Communities Stay Safe.
Community Service Officer for the Woodstock Police Shaylyn Jackson says Crime Stoppers is looking to promote safety and create a safe community for everyone.
"Having the ability to empower the community to contribute to keeping their community safe by providing a safe and anonymous tip line for them to relay information too, if they are not comfortable with relaying it directly to police."
She adds Crime Stoppers of Oxford County has been an amazing partner over the past 30 years.
"They have assisted with arrests and laying charges, they have been able to assist with recovering stolen property and illegal drugs and getting that stuff off the streets."
