Ontario reporting 194 new cases this morning and for the first time this year, the Province is reporting zero COVID-19 related deaths.
ONTARIO - The Province of Ontario has confirmed 194 new cases of COVID-19 this morning, bringing the total number of cases in the Province to 546,411.
For the first time this year, the Province is reporting zero COVID-19 related deaths and the total remains at 9,224. Another 236 cases have been labelled resolved, bringing the total number of resolved cases to 535,346.
The province completed 26,976 tests yesterday. We currently have 201 COVID-19 patients in the hospital with 163 people in the ICU and 120 in the ICU on a ventilator. The majority of the cases are coming from hot spot regions with 42 new cases in the Region of Waterloo, 35 in Toronto, 26 in Peel Region, 16 in Hamilton and 11 in Grey Bruce.
