You have until May 20th to register for the Dairy Capital Run on May 24th.
WOODSTOCK - Time is running out if you're thinking about signing up for the Dairy Capital Run.
Jocelyn Jenner, the Senior Development Officer for the Woodstock Hospital Foundation, says the run is scheduled for Saturday May 24th.
"We've got the same race route as last year at Discovery Farm Woodstock. We're kicking things off with the 5K run at 8:30 a.m. followed by the 2K at 9:00 a.m. and the Lil' Hoofer Run at 9:30 a.m."
However, you do have to register online here by May 20th in order to participate. It costs $50 for the 5K, $25 for the 2K and $15 for the Lil' Hoofer run.
Jenner says all of the money raised will be put to good use.
"We're raising money for a portable ECG for our inpatient surgery, so it's an important piece of equipment."
Those who sign up will be able to pick up their race kit at the Woodstock Hospital on May 22nd. You can also pick it up at Discovery Farm Woodstock on May 24th, at a booth by the TD building before your event.
This will be the 29th Dairy Capital Run in Woodstock, and the event usually sees 300 to 350 participants each year.
Jocelyn Jenner called the Heart FM studio to chat with Dan and Marcie on Thursday May 15th. You can listen to the full interview below:
