Oxford OPP continue to investigate the death of an elderly woman found on Maple Lane Public School's property.
TILLSONBURG - Foul play is not suspected in the death of an elderly woman found on the property of a Tillsonburg public school early Friday morning.
Oxford OPP Constable Stacey Culbert says they were called to the scene at Maple Lane Public School around 6:45 am after the woman was found without vital signs by a school staff member. "She was actually discovered on the property of Maple Lane Public School which is in a residential area and there are several other buildings within the area as well. There is a senior's complex in the area as well as several homes including the school."
Police wrapped up their on scene investigation but according to Culbert, will be at the school to assist if needed.
Police have not confirmed the identity of the woman at this time.
