A 39 year old from London is facing assault and weapons charges after the OPP responded to a domestic dispute in South-West Oxford.
SOUTH-WEST OXFORD - A 39 year old from London is facing assault and weapons charges after the OPP responded to a domestic dispute in South-West Oxford.
Police were called to a home on Domtar Line on Wednesday afternoon around 12:15. Apparently a verbal argument escalated to a fight between three people. Two people were assaulted in the fight and they suffered minor injuries.
The man from London was charged with two counts of assault, assault with a weapon and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose. Police did not release the suspects name.
The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Woodstock at a later date.
