If you missed it on Heart FM this morning... Final numbers from the 3rd Annual Baby Alex Teddy Bear Drive were announced on the John & Liz Show. Thanks to the generosity of the community, the drive raised over 642 individual stuffed animals. But with an overwhelming amount of money donated to the campaign this year, event founder, Mary Rodrigues was able to purchase even more stuffed animals. "I was able to go out and buy another 970 stuffed animals." That more than doubled the total, while also doubling last year's total at 1612 stuffed animals. All of them are going to children at the Children's Health Foundation at the London Health Sciences Centre. Rodrigues sent out a big "Thank You" to everyone who participated in making the event a huge success.
