The Downtown Woodstock BIA will be hosting the Woodstock Shopping Night a week early this month due to the leap year.
WOODSTOCK - Lots of people will be hitting up downtown Woodstock for the Woodstock Shopping Night.
Several businesses will be offering special promotions this evening including the Cheesy Cow Company, Habitual Chocolate, Hallmark, Red Light District, Reel Treats Popcorn & Sweets, and Zabian's Men's Wear.
Duane Kumala-Thomas, the Operations Manager for the Downtown Woodstock BIA, says these shopping nights will be taking place on a monthly basis.
"Usually it's the last Thursday of every month and we're trying to make that the regular throughout the entire year so people can get familiar with it."
The shopping night is being held a week early this month due to the leap year.
Kumala-Thomas says Theatre Woodstock has also put together a special promotion for tonight's event.
"They've gone to a number of the businesses and left envelopes hidden throughout the store. If you find one, you can get a voucher for two tickets to be redeemed at the box office whenever."
More details can be found on the Woodstock Shopping Night Facebook page.
Duane Kumala-Thomas stopped by the Heart FM studio to chat with Dan and Marcie on Thursday February 22nd. You can listen to the full interview below:
