Norfolk OPP would like to remind early morning and evening joggers to dress accordingly.
NORFOLK COUNTY - The sun is starting to set a lot earlier across the region.
If you like to go out for a run, jog or walk early in the morning or in the evening; make sure you wear reflective clothing.
Constable Ed Sanchuk says you want to make sure you are visible, so the drivers out there on the roads can see you.
"Following basic safety rules and wearing the appropriate reflective clothing can greatly increase your chance of staying safe when out exercising during the dark or walking along the roadway. Making safety a priority is everyone's responsibility."
Norfolk OPP got a call from a concerned citizen Wednesday morning, after they saw multiple people walking along the side of the road in dark clothing.
Runners and joggers should also let people know where they're going before they take off and carry a cellphone with them just in case.
