Remarkably the driver of the SUV and their new puppy were not injured after an SUV left the road this morning and entered the water.
WEST PERTH - Remarkably nobody was injured after a single vehicle collision in West Perth this morning.
Police say an SUV went off the road at Line 29 and Road 140 between Stratford and Sebringville, entering a body of water around 6:00 a.m. The driver and their puppy was able to get out the vehicle before it was submerged in water.
OPP are crediting the team work of first responders from the officers who arrived on scene and the Fire Departments in Perth East and Perth West for helping to make sure everyone got out of the vehicle safely.
An investigation into the collision is ongoing.
