Police charged a man in Paris this morning with being impaired by a drug after a minor crash in a construction zone.
PARIS - Brant OPP charged a driver for being impaired by a drug this morning.
Police say the driver of a minivan was under the influence of drugs during a minor collision in a construction zone on Dundas Street East. This happened at 5:00 a.m. this morning, just hours after marijuana was legalized, however Police did not specify which drug the man was impaired by.
While in police custody at the OPP detachment he also damaged property owned by the County of Brant OPP and was also charged with mischief to property under $5000.
