The Woodstock Police have seized drugs and weapons as part of two separate projects.
UPDATE - The Woodstock Police have provided an update regarding Project Delorean.
An additional search warrant was executed on April 24th at a commercial location on Dundas Street, which led to the seizure of a loaded handgun and $1,024,720 in Canadian currency. This is the largest cash seizure in Woodstock Police Service history. One of the 28-year-old men from Woodstock, who was previously charged when another search warrant was executed, is now facing with 5 more counts. They are: Possession of Proceeds of Crime Over $5,000, Unauthorized Possession of a Prohibited or Restricted Firearm, Knowledge of Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm, Possession of a Loaded Prohibited or Restricted Firearm, and Careless Storage of a Firearm, Weapon, Prohibited Device or Ammunition.
He has been held in custody awaiting a bail hearing.

WOODSTOCK - A pair of investigations in Woodstock has led to charges.
Yesterday, a warrant was executed in the area of Ferguson Drive, which was under Project Eldorado. As a result, three individuals, two 21-year-old males from Woodstock and a 19-year-old female from Strathroy, were arrested and jointly charged with a long list of charges. Those charges are: Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking - Cocaine, two counts of Unauthorized Possession of a Weapon, Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5,000, Unauthorized Possession of a Prohibited or Restricted Firearm, Knowledge of Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm, Possession of a Loaded Prohibited or Restricted Firearm, and Careless Storage of a Firearm, Weapon, Prohibited Device or Ammunition. One of the 21-year-olds is also facing a charge of Traffic in a Schedule I Substance - Cocaine.
During the execution of the warrant, a loaded handgun, two conducted energy weapons, $14,315 in Canadian cash, and cocaine with an estimated street value of $3,500 was seized. Below is a picture of what was seized during Project Eldorado.

Also, yesterday, a warrant was executed in the area of Bay Street under Project Delorean. As a result, four individuals, two 28-year-old males, a 27-year-old male, and a 38-year-old male, all from Woodstock, were arrested and jointly charged with Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine, Possession of Proceeds of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5,000, and Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking - Other Drugs. One of the 28-year-olds is also facing a count of Traffic in a Schedule I Substance - Cocaine. This warrant seized cocaine with an estimated street value of $94,000, $22,575 in Canadian cash, a significant quantity of handgun and shotgun ammunition, a quantity of narcotics, and an armoured vest. Everyone charged in the execution of both warrants has been held in custody pending bail hearings. Both investigations remain ongoing at this time as well.
