The Easter Bunny has busy weekend planned in Oxford County.
OXFORD COUNTY - The Easter Bunny is expected to make a couple of stops in Oxford County this weekend.
The Tillsonburg Kinsmen Club is hosting their annual Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday morning at the Memorial Park at 11am. Easter goodie bags donated by A&W will be provided along with a visit from the A&W Great Root Bear and possibly even the Easter Bunny.
Kids in Norwich will also be searching for goodies at 11am on Saturday. They are advised to dress for muddy conditions as they trek through Peter Lossing Forest. The Norwich Optimist Club will also host a free family party at the Norwich Museum afterwards. There will be cupcake decorating, face painting, crafts and doorprizes to be won. A hog dog lunch will also be served.
Meanwhile in Ingersoll the Rotary Club is hosting their 28th annual Easter Egg hunt for kids between the ages of 2 and 10. Everyone will get a free chocolate bunny and we're told the Easter bunny might even hop over from Tillsonburg to make an appearance. The event starts at Victoria Park at 10am and they are asking you to arrive early to register your child and to bring your own basket.
The OPP and Ingersoll Fire Dept. will be joining us again this year to visit with the kids. Have your little one meet a firefighter or police officer before or after they go hunting for eggs. Parking is available in the lot beside the Creative Arts Centre.
All of the events are free.
