An employee at the Victoria Park Community Centre in Ingersoll has tested positive for COVID-19.
INGERSOLL - An employee at the Victoria Park Community Centre in Ingersoll has tested positive for COVID-19.
The town issued a release on social media this afternoon:
"The employee last worked at the site on Monday August 10th. Based off information from Southwestern Public Health, they were not infectious or contagious at the time and this notice is being issued out of transparency. This employee had no contact with the public through workplace interactions during this time. We have notified our employees and are following all guidelines and safety protocols."
The employee is currently at home in self isolation. Town staff are being asked to self monitor and follow all safety protocols currently in place.
