Bill Bell is looking to find himself a seat on council next term.
BLANDFORD-BLENHEIM - A retired business owner is running for Blandford-Blenheim Council.
Bill Bell is looking to run for a seat and next term's township council.
Bell states that this isn't the first time he has run for council.
"Well I actually ran when I was 21 or 22, but I never had time in being in business and having all the pressures of that. Now that I am retired I'm interested in trying to give back to the township that I've lived in all my life."
Bell use to own a plumbing business before his retirement.
He says that he would like to work on the economy and senior care in Blandford-Blenheim.
"Well I think we need to address some senior issues, especially in the Plattsville, Bright area, Drumbo has a little bit, but I think we really need to address the issues with trying to get some more senior housing."
You will see his name on the ballot list for the municipal election on October 22nd
