OXFORD COUNTY - Oxford County is running a survey for their EarlyON Child and Family Centres.
If you live in a home with children up to six years old, the County is looking for your feedback on things like program ideas and areas of focus. Further feedback is needed on online preferences and other offerings that support early childhood learning and development.
EarlyON Child and Family Centres offer high-quality, free drop-in programs and other child and family programs and services that build responsive adult-child relationships, encourage children’s exploration and promote play and inquiry.
The survey will help prepare the County when it assumes local EarlyON programs and services, beginning January 1st, 2021.
With approval from County council yesterday, the change will integrate the provincial EarlyON program into the County’s Human Services department, making it easier for families are at risk to also benefit from early learning and development opportunities in the community.
Until in-person programming can safely begin again, the virtual, or online, format EarlyON adopted by the County will continue during the pandemic.
Moving forward, programs and services will be offered in response to the community's feedback.
You can visit here to take the survey. It runs between now and November 13th.
