Festive Friday will be taking over downtown Woodstock tomorrow.
WOODSTOCK - Forget about Black Friday, because it's Festive Friday tomorrow in Downtown Woodstock.
The downtown is completely decked out for Christmas and tomorrow they will have a petting zoo in museum square and Santa will be on location as well. Local stores will be open later and they will have some Black Friday deals as well. Santa Claus will be available for photo's from 5-8 p.m.
It is also the start of the downtown selfie contest where you can win a ton of prizes from several downtown businesses. You can enter the contest by picking up a ballot at a downtown business with an elf inside. Then you need to post a selfie on social media and tag the business and make it fun. You are also asked to take a photo of an item in the store that would make a great Christmas gift and tag the store, which helps to encourage everyone to shop local this holiday season. You can visit as many businesses as you can for more chances to win.
You can find a complete list of contest details online here.
