WOODSTOCK - Woodstock City Council is expected to vote on the final tax rates for 2021 on Thursday night.
The budget is calling for a General purposes levy of $61,985,013, which is $3,019,983 higher than 2020. This means the residential tax rate will rise by 1.61% in the City of Woodstock. Last year the residential tax rate in Woodstock was up 2.72%. For reference, if you owned a home assessed at $257,000, you would have to pay an extra $61.13 in property taxes this year.
