Retirees and young investors are welcome to attend a couple financial forums at Craigowan Golf and Country Club next week.
WOODSTOCK - Two financial seminars will teach people a thing or two about the stock market.
President of the Green Private Wealth Council Paul Green says they will help steer people away from the traditional buy and hold concept.
"We want to educate folks on a different approach, something that's completely different to almost all advisors."
Green adds the workshops will be geared towards people over the age of 55.
"Roughly every four to five years you have a substantial decline in the market and for people who are very close to retirement or in retirement, this could be very unacceptable to their financial situation and their income needs."
Green also invites young investors to attend the forums at Craigowan Golf and Country Club on Tuesday October 10th and Wednesday October 11th at 7pm.
