PRINCETON - A small fire, nearly caused a big explosion in Blandford-Blenheim Township.
Police say the fire was started on purpose with paper and cardboard items just after midnight on December 31st in the area of Oxford Road 22 and Highway 2. The fire was left to burn near a propane tank in the vicinity of the north track on the CN rail line. Thankfully the fire self-extinguished before it reached the propane tank and nobody was injured.
