"Help out your neighbour, you want us all to get along, you know hunky dory, Kumbaya, help us out, I'm asking you to help us out."
ONTARIO - The Premier of Ontario is calling on the US Government to help Canada out, when it comes to the Pfizer vaccine.
Premier Doug Ford was speaking about the Pfizer delays, that will impact Canada and Ontario starting next week.
"I'm not angry at the Prime Minister, the Deputy Prime Minister, I'm just angry at the situation that other countries are getting it and nothing is more important than getting these vaccines. If I was in his his shoes, I'm sure he is doing it but I would be on that phone call every single day, I would be up that guys ying yang so far with a firecracker he wouldn't know what hit him, from Pfizer."
Ford says countries with populations of 5 million are getting the vaccines and Canada isn't.
"We are in the G7, we are major player in the world, this isn't directed at the PM or the Deputy because I think the world of them, we are working collaboratively together but man, we got to be on these guys like a blanket, I'd be outside that guys house, every time he moved, I'd be saying where our are vaccines. Other people are getting them, the European Union are getting them, why not Canada."
Ford is calling on our American neighbours for help.
"There is a Pfizer plant, 6 hours away in Kalamazoo Michigan. My American friends, help us out, we need help once again as you did with the PPE, you have a new President, no more excuses, we need your support and we look forward to your support and that is a direct message to President Biden. Help out your neighbour, you want us all to get along, you know hunky dory, Kumbaya, help us out, I'm asking you to help us out."
Ford directly asked the President to provide Canada with a million Pfizer vaccines from the plant in Kalamazoo.
