A former pharmacist from Woodstock has been suspended by the Ontario College of Pharmacists.
WOODSTOCK - A former pharmacist from Woodstock has been suspended by the Ontario College of Pharmacists.
Yogesh Patel was suspended for non-payment of his dues according to the Colleges web site. Last year Patel was arrested and charged on drug trafficking charges while working as a pharmacist at the Rexall in Woodstock on Springbank Avenue.
Patel has recently pleaded guilty to those charges and admitted to forging documents and stealing $100,000 worth of prescription drugs.
During the initial bust which included the arrests of two people from Woodstock police seized $35,000 worth of Fentanyl, Hydromorphone, Morphine, Nabilone and Oxycodone from the three homes along with $3,000 in cash.
