Police seized over $13,000 in drugs and stolen property after executing a search warrant at a home in Ingersoll.
INGERSOLL - Four people have been arrested after a search warrant in Ingersoll.
Police say they seized over $13,000 in drugs and stolen property after searching a home on Thames Street North last Thursday. Officers found fentanyl, methlpenidate and marijuana inside the home along with two suspected stolen bicycles. The owners of the bicycles were located and their property was returned to them.
26 year old Matthew Morgan was arrested and is facing the following charges;
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000 (2 counts)
- Possession of a Schedule II Substance for the purpose of Trafficking-Marihuana
- Possession of a Schedule I Substance-Fentanyl
- Possession of a Schedule III Substance-Methylphenidate
- Fail to Comply with Probation Order (3 counts)
- Fail to Comply with Recognizance
Also arrested was 20 year old Meghan Irwin, 43 year old Jasen Szabo and 43 year old Kenneth Smith of Ingersoll. All three face the following charges;
- Possession of a Schedule II Substance for the purpose of Trafficking-Marihuana
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000 (2 counts)
The search warrant was executed after an investigation from the Oxford/Brant County Ontario Provincial Police Community Street Crime Units, with assistance from the OPP Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau and Emergency Response Team.
