The Woodstock Minor Football Association is sending a lucky football fan to an NFL game.
WOODSTOCK - It's the trip of a lifetime for a football fan.
The Woodstock Minor Football Association is hosting a VIP NFL Raffle to raise some money.
The winner will receive two lower-bowl tickets to any regular reason NFL game of their choice, but Executive Officer Joe Brown says that's not all.
"We fly you there, we fly you back, we get you a hotel room, and we get you transportation all over. You'll go on a Friday or a Saturday morning, and we'll find you a museum or something else to do on the Saturday. You get up Sunday and have breakfast at the local restaurant on us, there's also dinners on us. Then you go watch a game in the lower bowl, be there and experience the NFL. It's a pretty amazing package and we're pretty thankful that we were able to put this together."
Tickets cost $20 each and they're available online here.
Brown says all of the money raised will be put to good use.
"We're in need of funds to run our programs and one of the things that we're looking at is putting in a scoreboard out at Cowan Park so parents can see what the score is, instead of asking us while we're trying to coach. We also have to look at recertifying our equipment, especially our helmets, and that costs money."
You can visit the Woodstock Wolverines website to learn more about their football program.
Joe Brown stopped by the Heart FM studio to chat with Dan and Marcie on Thursday April 3rd. You can listen to the full interview below:
