The fire happened on January 30th in the Sunpark Hidden Valley Estates Community.
OXFORD - Jaime Aitken took the call yesterday that no one wants to get.
The trailer he and his girlfriend lived at in the Sunpark Hidden Valley Estates Community was engulfed in flames.
The Neighbour of Aitken, Darryl Donaghey, has started a GoFundMe Page and is hopeful for community support.
"These folks have had a lot of tragic stuff happen in their life, and everyone in the community is trying to do something, getting the word out there. I set the GoFundMe for $200,000, I guess they go up in increments as time goes on. They need a lot of help."
Aitken was leaving work when he was notified.
"I got a call from the park manager Brad that our trailer was on fire, and my heart sank. He informed us that our dog had passed away in the fire. It's hard to accept help, that was our whole life, we had everything. We've always been able to provide for ourselves."
