The 'ultimate ladies night out' will be happening at the Oxford Auditorium tonight.
Handbags for Hospice is happening tonight at the Oxford Auditorium in Woodstock.
Doors open at 7 pm and they will have a live auction happening at 8:30 pm to raise money for a new Child Bereavement Program at VON Sakura House. Fund Development Coordinator for VON Oxford Kyra McNamara tells Heart FM what you can expect at the event.
"They can expect to have a great time: we call this the ultimate ladies' night out. Purses are great because there is literally something for everyone, it doesn't matter how old, how young or what your style is there will be something for everyone - we have variety of price points as well."
The event is already sold out and is one of the biggest fundraiser's of the year for VON Oxford.
"The money from our special events goes towards our annual operating costs, so the costs that go into running the hospice for the year. We offer specialized palliative care in a home like setting and that is offered 24-7 and their families come and live us as well for their final days. They receive excellent care around the clock from a team of trained physicians, nurses, personal support workers, and volunteers."
