Statistics Canada is sharing some quality of life stats for some of our local communities.
SOUTHWESTERN ONTARIO - Statistics Canada is breaking down some of the happiest places to live in our community.
It has released an online tool that shows quality of life indicators based on census subdivision. Residents reported whether they felt satisfied with their lives, if they felt a sense of meaning or purpose, how they felt about the future, if they felt lonely, if they had someone to count on, and if they felt a sense of belonging in their community.
Looking at some of our local areas, Woodstock ranked 40.86 percent for overall life satisfaction. Norfolk County scored 53.257 percent, and London recorded 42.575 percent.
Brant County sits at 44.686 percent, but the City of Brantford is on the lower side with 38.133 percent. St. Thomas is even lower with 35.823 percent.
The entire province of Ontario recorded 45.383 for overall life satisfaction. Quebec had the highest total of all of the provinces with 58.387 percent.
