Norfolk OPP want to make sure drivers are on the lookout for farm equipment this harvest season.
NORFOLK COUNTY - It's harvest season and that means lots of farmers will be hitting the roads with their farm equipment.
Norfolk OPP would like to make sure drivers are extra cautious out there; looking for slow moving vehicles.
They can only go up to 40 kilometres an hour, so that's important to keep that in mind when you approach one of those orange triangle slow moving vehicle signs on the roads.
Make sure you give them lots of space if you're driving behind one. Combines and tractors may turn into unmarked field entrances when you least expect it.
Farm equipment can also be wider than the average vehicle so you may have to move over accordingly.
