OXFORD/BRANT - We're in for a hot and humid start to the week.
Environment Canada has issued a heat warning for Oxford and Brant. It's predicting daytime highs between 31 and 34 for today and tomorrow, but it will feel closer to 40 with the humidity. The temperature should only drop to 23 tonight.
Make sure you drink lots of water and stay in a cool place whenever possible today. The extreme heat can pose greater risk to young children, pregnant women, older adults, people with chronic illnesses and those who work or exercise outside.
A cold front should cool things off tomorrow evening, but it should also bring showers and thunderstorms.
