Oxford County will be represented at this summer's Special Olympics in London, England. Michael Heath of Thamesford qualified this week with a golden performance in the 100-meter Breaststroke at the Montreal National Championships. Heath also placed 2nd in the 100-meter Backstroke and 4th in the 200-meter freestyle swim. Heath will swim in London at the end of August in representing Canada at the Special Olympics. Heath remains in Montreal for the next 3-days for a training camp and to meet and greet Olympic Sponsors. He'll be back in the area on Wednesday.
