OPP were called to an address on Nixon Road shortly before 4am this morning.
NORFOLK COUNTY - It was an eventful start to the day in Norfolk County.
Two Individuals have been charged following a home invasion at an address on Nixon Road outside of Simcoe.
Police responded to the call just before 4am. It was determind that a group of 4 or 5 forcibly entered the residence. Once inside they interacted with three occupants one of which was physically assaulted and sustained minor injuries.
The suspects fled in a white van but were quickly apprehended. A 26 year old man from Richmond Hill and a 41 year old woman were taken into custody.
Norfolk OPP are asking anyone with information on this incident to come forward.

Shortly before 4am this morning police responded to an address on Nixon Road between Windham Road 14 and Highway 3, outside of Simcoe.
The road remains open but is experiencing a heavy police presence. More updates will be provided upon further information.
