The 13U Baseball Nationals are taking place in Woodstock, with the best teams from the country doing battle.
UPDATE - The 13U Woodstock Wranglers are flying high at the National Championship.
They continued their hot start, by beating Newfoundland and Labrador this afternoon 13-3. The win today moves their record to 3-0 and they will look to continue their strong play heading into the playoff round.

WOODSTOCK - Southside Park is the site for the 13U Baseball Nationals.
It has been a hot start for the Woodstock Wranglers, who are hosting the event. The day got started early this morning at 8 a.m. as the Wranglers played Quebec. It was an offensive explosion for the Wranglers as they put up 14 runs and held Quebec to 2.
Next was the opening ceremonies for the event, which had a special guest, Jamie Campbell of Blue Jays Central on Sportsnet.
The Wranglers then took to the diamond to play New Brunswick. The offence stayed hot as another 12 runs were scored by Woodstock. The final score of that game was 12-2. So far in the tournament, Woodstock has outscored their opponents 26-4.
Up next for the hosts will be a date with Newfoundland and Labrador tomorrow afternoon. First pitch is scheduled for 2 p.m. on the Southside East diamond.
