Ontario Fire Marshal called in to investigate fire on Alberta Ave
UPDATE at 9:25am Saturday. - Emergency officials remain on scene. Of the four people taken to hospital, two were transferred to London with undisclosed injuries. Fire crews are continuing to put out hot spots that are popping up. Area homes sustained heat damage as well.
A fire that tore through an Alberta Ave home Friday afternoon has sent four to hospital.
Emergency Services were called around 4:44pm when the home was already engulfed in flames with extreme heat to the homes on either side.
Those inside the home were taken to hospital with undisclosed injuries.
Woodstock Police say the cause of the fire is still unknown and the Ontario Fire Marshal has been called in to investigate.
There is no estimated cost of damage released at this time.
Two dogs were also rescued.
Several streets in the area were closed down Friday as crews worked to put out the fire.
