The Ingersoll Arena will hold a Fish Fry and Dance for the Ingersoll Skating Club. The event will raise money for the skating club and the Ingersoll Ironbirds.
INGERSOLL - The Ingersoll Skating Club is hosting a Fish Fry and Dance fundraiser.
The local club is partnering with Ingersoll Minor Baseball for this event.
The evening will include a dance following the dinner, which Fundraiser Chair Heather Kirby says will feature a local performer and a DJ.
"We have a dinner that's starts at 6:00pm and it goes until 8:00pm. We have tickets available for $30.00 for the dinner and dance, and if you just want to come to the dance it's $10.00 and that's from 9:00pm until 1:00am. We also have Kiley Joe Masson that is featuring in our dinner and dance and then after he leaves we have a DJ happening for the people who want to stay later."
Kirby adds the event will also feature a silent auction. She says all of the proceeds will raise money for the skating club and the Ingersoll Ironbirds.
"We're a non-profit agency so we rely a lot on our fundraisers and we teamed up with Ingersoll Iron Birds to try and do more of a big event. And since we're a small club we wanted to join up with other non-profit clubs and try and get more money in for our club."
Kirby says tickets will be available this week. If you are interested in buying tickets, you can either contact the Vice President of Ingersoll Minor Baseball Becky Verbrugge at 519-425-1282 or Ingersoll Skating Club board member Cindy Barnim at 519-494-7113. Tickets can also be picked up at the Re/Max A-B Realty Ltd in Ingersoll.
The fundraiser will be happening at the Ingersoll Arena on the arena floor. It goes on June 1st and the doors open at 5:30pm.
