Police say a young man was impaired by drugs when he was caught driving the wrong way on the 403 in Brant County.
BRANT COUNTY - A 19 year old from London is facing impaired driving charges after police caught him driving on the wrong side of the 403 in Brant County.
A concerned citizen called police after they noticed a vehicle travelling east bound in the west bound lanes of the 403 near Bishopgate Road last night.
Police attended located and stopped the vehicle and conducted their investigation. The driver was believed to under the influence of drugs and was arrested.
The accused will appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Brantford at a later date to answer to the charges. If convicted, the offender will be subject to the Criminal Code penalties, including a fine or jail time, and a driving prohibition.
