An Ingersoll resident was arrested and charged by the Oxford OPP on 37th Line last night.
ZORRA - A 27-year-old is facing impaired driving charges after their vehicle entered a ditch in Zorra Township.
Oxford OPP officers found the vehicle on 37th Line at around 9:00 p.m. yesterday. They spoke with the driver and arrested them once they noticed signs of impairment.
The Ingersoll resident has been charged with dangerous operation, operation while impaired, and operation while impaired with a blood alcohol concentration over 80. They now have a court date in Woodstock next month.
The Oxford OPP would like to remind everyone that you should not be getting behind the wheel if you have consumed any amount of drugs or alcohol. If you spot a driver who you believe is impaired, you should call 9-1-1 or the OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
