Pete Luciani would like to maintain and enhance the quality of life in Tillsonburg if he is elected as a town councillor this fall.
TILLSONBURG - A retired OPP officer is entering the Tillsonburg municipal election.
Pete Luciani was born and raised in Tillsonburg, and now he would like to become a town councillor.
If he's elected in, Luciani says he'll do his homework before making big decisions.
"I have a tendency to research and look at background as well as make good decisions and decisions that are for the best of the town in the big picture and not just for what's required at the time."
Luciani adds Tillsonburg is a beautiful town and he would like to do his part to make it a better place.
"I'd like to see that quality of life maintained and enhanced. My platform is basically going to be maintaining, building on what we have and enhancing things."
Before entering the political scene; Luciani was a 33 year member of the OPP. After retirement he joined the Memorial Park Revitalization Committee and became the Co-Chair of the Dog Park Committee.
