BURGESSVILLE - There will be a public information centre will be hosted in Norwich.

The centre will have details about the Oxford Road 59 urbanization project in Burgessville. The project includes design of stormwater infrastructure, road construction, urbanization of the road cross section, and sidewalk and streetlighting upgrades. The work would take place roughly 150 metres west of Deer Crescent to 150 metres east of Smiths Lane. The timeline for the project is set for the spring of 2026 until December 2026.

Residents that are interested in learning more about the project are invited to the drop-in event tomorrow from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Norwich Township Building. During the information centre, people will have the opportunity to learn more about the project, view design drawings, and discuss the project details with Oxford County staff.
