ERTH Power has launched a program to help the Ontario Student Nutrition Program Southwest. Customers that switch to eBilling will see donations made to help local schools provide food for students.
OXFORD COUNTY - A campaign has been launched to help support the nutritional needs of local students.
ERTH Power in Ingersoll has rolled out a program, which will see donations made to the Ontario Student Nutrition Program Southwest for every customer who makes the switch to paperless eBilling.
Vice President, Graig Pettit says why the Nutrition Program was chosen.
"We just felt the price of food keeps sky rocketing for all of our customers. It was a way for us to help support the people of our community through these programs that benefit children."
Pettit mentions that the donations will help those right here in the County.
"In Oxford County, the Student Nutrition Program supports 38 local schools, and will touch approximately 13,000 students."
Customers have until October 31st to make the switch in order for a donation to be made.
