An online survey about the downtown parking situation in Ingersoll is about to close.
INGERSOLL - This is a last call if you want to provide some input on the downtown parking situation in Ingersoll.
An online survey has been on the Town's website for a few weeks now and today is the last day to fill it out.
There's a draft version of a Downtown Parking Study on the town's website as well, and it has some recommendations. This includes adjusting the time restrictions on Thames Street South from three hours to one and the library parking lot from 30 minutes to two hours. Another recomendation called for emergency call boxes to be installed in under utilized parking lots, using the lot behind Canada Post and the lot between St. Andrew Street and Charles Street as examples.
You can find the survey online here. Town staff will look over all of the results before submitting the final report to council.
