The Ingersoll Town Hall was evacuated after a fire scare this afternoon.
INGERSOLL - The Ingersoll Town Hall was evacuated this afternoon after smoke was spotted coming from the roof.
Ingersoll Fire Chief John Holmes explains what happened.
"We got a little bit of smoke that was generated from some roof work that was going on and it was pushed inside the building."
Holmes says the smoke did not cause any real damage to the building. It did get into some of the offices which is why they evacuated.
Nobody was injured and things are back to normal at the Town Hall.
