INGERSOLL - A woman from Ingersoll is $144,000 richer after winning the Lotto Max Draw.
Angela Searle purchased her winning ticket at the OLG Slots at Flamboro Downs. At first she didn't think she had won a lot of money.
"When I scanned my winning ticket, I thought I had misread the amount and won $144. When it finally occurred to me that there was a comma in that number, I scanned it again with my phone using the OLG Lottery App, then I screamed and went numb!"
Searle is already making plans with the money. She and her boyfriend want to take their families to a real ranch.
"I am so excited to corral a herd of cattle on horseback and do some fly fishing!"
Searle says the whole thing really hasn't sunk in quite yet.
"Reality has not yet set in. I have always dreamed of this, and imagined myself winning, and now it's happened to me!"
