If you travel the 401, expect to see more involvement from Ingersoll. The town has two projects on the go to increase its presence on the major highway. First is a new sign at the off-ramp entrance to the town. The other is a wrap around advertisement on a transport truck. Ingersoll Mayor Ted Comiskey says it's a way to get their name across the country. "It'll have features of Ingersoll on it, plus our website. This will travel across southern Ontario and potentially across Canada and be an advertisement for Ingersoll," said Comiskey. Both initiatives are meant to attract further immigration.
