The six-bedroom transitional house will open its doors in early March.
INGERSOLL - A six-bedroom transitional home in Ingersoll is nearing completion.
United Way Oxford held the official ribbon-cutting ceremony at Ingersoll's Light House last Friday.
It's set to open in early March and will provide a fully renovated, fully furnished home to those experiencing homelessness or housing insecurity. A funding grant through Oxford County, along with financing assistance from the Ingersoll Community Foundation, made this project a reality. United Way Oxford wishes to thank all the community leaders, partners, and businesses that assisted with this project.
The name lighthouse, which is designed to be a beacon of light or hope and to guide residents to safety, was initially chosen for a Tillsonburg transitional housing project that opened in 2023.
Those looking to donate to Ingersoll's Lighthouse can reach out to United Way Oxford.
