In Midwestern Junior C playoff action, the Wellesley Apple Jacks steal game 6 with an overtime thriller over the Norwich Merchants.
In local hockey playoffs, it was a wild one in Wellesley last night.
The Apple Jacks scored a 7-6 overtime win over the Norwich Merchants. That was despite the Merchants owning a 42-27 shot margin. The win sets up Game 7 this afternoon back in Norwich. Puck drop is at 2 p.m.
Meantime, Tavistock stayed alive with a 3-2 win over New Hamburg. That series is still 3-2 in favour of the Firebirds with Game 6 going tonight in Tavi at 8 p.m.
