If you're looking for work, you should be looking towards Tillsonburg. The 9th annual Tillsonburg Community Services & Career Fair is set for Thursday from 10AM-4PM. You'll find it throughout the hallways of the Town Centre Mall on Broadway St. The fair has grown this year from 10 employers to the 11-15 range. They'll be predominately from the Woodstock area, but there will also be employers from Woodstock, Brantford and Hamilton. They will have jobs available in the health care, retail, industrial, financial and hospitality industries. Organizer Rod Billard says they're definitely noticing more job opportunities coming into their office at the Tillsonburg Resource Network. "In the Tillsonburg area we are very, very busy. We have job opportunities coming through. It seems like every day there's something new coming up on the horizon. The economy seems to be picking back up again." Companies from a wide range of sectors will be at tomorrow's career fair, and Billard says people looking for work should bring their resume and dress to impress. He says some employers will be doing on the spot interviews. The fair also has a community services component, and there will be information on several services in the Tillsonburg/Tri-County area.
