The jury is complete. 9 women and 3 men have been selected to hear the murder trial of Michael Rafferty, and decide his ultimate fate. Rafferty, 31, has pleaded not guilty to charges, including first-degree murder, in the death of 8-year-old Victoria Stafford. Potential jurors were screened out for various reasons on Monday and Tuesday and seven jurors were selected on Wednesday. The remaining five jurors, plus two alternates were filled out today. The alternates are one man and one woman. The trial will begin on Monday, with an opening statement and first witness. Jurors have been told the trial is expected to last up to three months, possibly extending into June.
