Godspell is being performed by their Senior Company, featuring high school students in grades 10 to 12.
WOODSTOCK - Godspell will be the next play to be put on by K2K Productions.
The play is being performed by their Senior Company, featuring high school students in grades 10 to 12.
Artistic Director Brian Belleth says this is the first time they're performing with an older cast.
"K2K has also been known in our community from Grade 2 to Grade 9 and a few years ago we had this conversation of, 'man, we would love to see it expand.' And so we've been kind of waiting, sitting on it and we felt it was time for us, this year, to spread our wings I guess you would say with a great team around us to create success for our students."
This production will feature 17 cast members, who Belleth praised for their acting and the show's different styles of music.
"Not only is the acting really wonderful to watch, but the music is so powerful and so relevant. And it's got different styles of music, you've got your classic musical theatre, you've got gospel, you've got pop and so all of that, all of the different genres that are explored through it and the storytelling through it has been amazing."
Godspell will run from May 3rd to 11th, performing at the Calvary Church in Woodstock. It will also feature a matinee on May 5th at 3:00pm.
Tickets prices are $15.00 to $20.00 and they are available online or by visiting the Hallmark Shoppe, All About Health or by calling the box office at 519-537-8080.
The first show will be on May 3rd at 7:30pm.
